LIFT THE YARD

“Lift The Yard” is K Project Freedom's thriving, client-centered mentorship initiative within the Colorado Department of Corrections. This program aims to imbue vital life skills, enhance conflict resolution abilities, and foster social-emotional learning. Rooted in evidence-based methodologies, our approach guarantees a robust framework for long-term positive transformation in individuals' lives.

LIFE TRANSITIONS AND RECOVERY

3 Phases:

1) Lift the Yard (Body)

Lift the Yard marks the initiation of our program's 'Module 1,' where we leverage a physical and fitness-oriented approach. This component is intricately designed to illuminate the shared human experience of grappling with life's challenges. It demonstrates the fundamental truth that everyone encounters struggles; the key lies in how we navigate and transcend them. This model serves as a tangible, hands-on demonstration of the 'weight' we all carry in life, encouraging participants to realign their perspective. We present a choice: allow challenges to dictate our daily lives or rise above, refusing to let adversity wield power over us.

2) Lift the Mind (Mind)

Transitioning into 'Model 2,' Lift the Mind, we leverage our understanding of each participant's journey to build and fortify their minds. This phase empowers individuals to recognize their intrinsic strength and capabilities, fostering a deep sense of self-empowerment. We guide them to understand that even in the midst of life's storms, they possess the capacity to stay on course and avoid getting sidetracked.

3) Lift Us Up (Spirit)

As we transition from 'Lift the Mind' to the next phase, 'Lift Us Up,' Module 3 becomes a pivotal point where we witness individuals actively walking the path towards personal growth. Participants will have successfully achieved a series of goals outlined in their case plans and are encouraged to continue setting new objectives. This phase builds upon the foundational principles of 'Lift the Streets' and the structured approach of 'Lift the Mind.'

Entering this stage can be challenging, as individuals find themselves halfway to reaching their goals, facing the temptation to give up or self-sabotage. Recognizing this critical juncture, we intensify our efforts by providing additional love, support, and resources.
